The designed villa is located in Wola Justowska in the western part of Krakow. Its shape refers to typical urban villas, with inspiration drawn from the visions of architect Leon Chwistek and the realization of houses and artists’ studios in Wola Justowska. The building is characterized by refined architectural details made using prefabrication technology. The project takes into account aspects of sustainable architecture, utilizing solar energy, green terraces, photovoltaic panels, mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery, and intelligent lighting control.

The architectural solutions of the project are based on the use of monochrome concrete slabs of various shapes and textures. The use of concrete with a high thermal mass facilitates the utilization of solar energy and ensures a high level of building comfort. Concrete is also fire-resistant, durable, and possesses excellent acoustic properties. The project is based on the idea of sustainable construction, taking into account both the carbon footprint in the construction process and the building’s impact on the environment over many years of use. Concrete, as the primary material, was chosen for the aforementioned advantages. The designed solutions create a complete, ecological, and rational building.
