In the “Górka Narodowa” area in Krakow, the next element of the urban layout is a building coded as B1. It is located on a fragment of the second building block, counting from the east side. This structure will form the south-facing part of the large block C. In the ground floors of the eastern part of this construction, service premises have been planned. This place is not limited to residential function – spaces for accompanying functions are provided in four service premises.

The design draws inspiration from the modernist tradition. Bright façade surfaces, simple window divisions, steel balustrades with a straightforward design, and clear, rational solutions in detailing are characteristic elements of this style that have been implemented in this building. The rhythm of windows on the façade, broken by the “recesses” of loggias and “protrusions” of balconies, is the primary architectural motif. As a decorative element of the façade surfaces, geometric patterns based on rhombuses were proposed – a motif often found in the modernist buildings of Krakow, such as in the “Dom ZUPU” at Plac Inwalidów 6, designed by Wacław Nowakowski.
