The innovative approach to architecture turns the building into a dynamic element of the urban fabric. The main idea shaping the structure is its floor plan resembling the digits “9” and “8,” which intertwine on different levels, creating almost sculptural effects. This concept allows for the creation of interesting and attractive outdoor spaces, cutting dynamic frames of the landscape from the building’s form, such as views of the Kamedułów Monastery in Krakow.
The wooden terraces appear in these “cut-outs,” transforming them into relaxation areas that are not only functional but also an integral part of the building’s aesthetics. Three main motifs are applied on the facades: “deep grid,” “grid,” and “checkerboard.” These unique elements give the building a modern, simple, and yet subtle character, reflecting its urban surroundings. Regardless of the perspective, the building presents itself as an intriguing spatial composition.
