An unusual building located in the heart of Krakow’s Zabłocie district on Portowa Street stretching from Port Plaszow to the junction with Zabłocie and Jana Dekerta Streets. As the first in the area, it fits into the zoning plan, combining residential and commercial functions, and has the ambition to shape the future character of Portowa Street. Designed in an “L” shape, it forms the nucleus of a new urban frontage, harmoniously connecting Portowa Street with the planned KDL.2 road.

Its corner location gives it a special compositional significance in the north-west corner, which becomes a key visual and above all urbanistic point. Despite its location on a post-industrial site, the building blends harmoniously into the urban landscape, with details such as aesthetically pleasing paving, greenery and small architecture. The design refers to the historic brick building of the former harbour cold store, which is an important element of the local urban fabric. The grey brick and stucco with a concrete texture, combined with warm wooden elements in the loggias and window frames, give it a unique character.
